About the Speakers
Thomas Girardi and Brian Panish joined a high-profile Panel of U.S. Judges and Lawyers in a Presentation on the American Jury System.
Thomas Girardi is considered one of America's leading trial lawyers. His successes are legend. Tom handled the 'Erin Brockovich' case as well as garnered headlines on verdicts for SUV rollovers, air bags, as well as numerous medical devices and medications. Tom credits over one hundred (100) Jury Verdicts in excess of seven and eight figures.
Brian Panish recently secured a $35 million dollar verdict resulting from the Singapore Air/Taipei Airport Crash. Brian's forte is the 'tough liability' case. Brian recorded the first billion dollar Jury Verdict in the history of the California Court system on a products injury claim.
Two leading Jurists from the U.S. Courts will also speak. The Honorable Ronald S.W. Lew is the first Chinese American appointed by the President of the United States to the U.S. District Court. The Honorable Zel Canter, Santa Barbara Superior Court, has 25+ years on the Bench and is celebrated for his handling of claims against entertainer/singer Michael Jackson.
